Pass the Verse

Know where the Word lives, then pass it on. A daily Bible game that sharpens your recall of Scripture, and a simple way to put a verse in front of someone you care about.

No account, no ads, no tracking. Plays in your browser.

Each day, three rounds

  1. BookWhich of the 66?
  2. SectionNarrow it to the passage.
  3. VersePin the exact verse.

Learn the shape of the whole Bible, not just its famous lines.

Each day brings a new verse with the personal names inked out. Work out where it lives, one step at a time.

  1. 1

    The book

Start wide: which of the 66 books is it in?

  2. 2

    The section

Narrow it to the passage. Every choice has a name and a sentence saying what happens there.

  3. 3

    The verse

Pin the exact verse. Answers stay on the server until you earn them.

Pass it on

Pick a passage, choose a message, and share the link. Your friend hunts the verse down, then reads what you wanted to say. It’s an easy way to open a conversation about the Word of God.

  • Messages come from a fixed list, so there is no free text. Adding your first name is optional.
  • Your friend plays it just like a daily game, with the same rounds and hints.
  • You can see how many people found it, and take it back at any time.
  • The link expires after 30 days.
  • Every daily game ends with the option to pass that verse to a friend.

Make it a habit.

  • Daily reminders, if you want them

Pick an hour and get one nudge when the verse is ready, and none on days you’ve already played.

  • Sync, without an account

A sync code ties your devices together. Your progress is encrypted before it leaves your device.

  • Install it like an app

Chrome and Edge offer Install. On iPhone or iPad, use Share, then Add to Home Screen.

  • Four versions

Read it in WEB, KJV, NASB 1995 or NIV, chosen beside the verse number.

No account, no ads, no tracking.

Your progress, streaks and the verses you send and receive stay on your device. Reminders and sync are the only exceptions, and both are opt-in: reminders keep a device address, your time zone and hour, and the date you last played; sync keeps an encrypted copy of your progress that the server cannot read. A sent verse is deleted after 30 days.
